Amy Mason is local to Hagerstown, Maryland and is excited to be joining The Poole Law Group as the Office Administrator. Amy graduated from Towson University earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Shortly after graduation, Amy worked for a medical marketing research firm, then worked for a small dental insurance company in Bethesda, Maryland collaborating with dental providers, and membership services for marketing the DMO locally and nationally. These prior experiences led to Amy entering the world of employee benefits. She joined the Personnel and Administration Services Division at The Rouse Company in Columbia, Maryland. She quickly embraced the corporate family environment at Rouse, building personal relationships with coworkers, the community of Columbia, being active with the United Way and the Rouse Company Singers. It was during this time at The Rouse Company, Amy began the Certified Employee Benefit designation (CEBS). She then worked part time handling membership services for a national nonprofit before returning to full-time employment in 2014. For 10 years, Amy was a licensed Maryland producer selling ACA small and large group health and welfare benefit plans for a local insurance company.
In addition to professional experience Amy is active in her church community, Haven Lutheran Church. Amy has an amazing husband of 36 years, Michael, who spoils the family (and friends) with his culinary skills and sense of humor! Amy and Michael have one daughter, who has enjoyed studying in Spain, and therefore Amy and Michael have made Spain a special travel destination. When not eating, traveling, reading a book, you will find Amy at the YMCA welcoming everyone to the deep-water fitness class!
